Welcome to the Toledo Lab

The Toledo Lab is an externally funded research program that conducts clinical-translational research on diabetes mellitus, fuel metabolism, and related fields.

Dr. Toledo is Director of the Endocrinology Clinical Research Core, which supports clinical and translational research involving human subjects across Departments of the University of Pittsburgh with a focus on glucose metabolism, endocrine-related disease, and exercise physiology. It provides highly specialized research tests of metabolism, exercise performance, and body composition.
